Stretch & Strengthen
To keep all of our dancers at their optimum, the Stretch and Strengthening program is designed to make our dancers the strongest they can be and reduce injuries. We explore a range of exercises incorporating the whole body. By strengthening these muscles, it makes all of our classes, especially ballet a lot easier. Increasing their flexibility and range, dancers find it a lot easier to do movements in classes, ultimately improving their experience. We also prepare our students for audition material that requires them to show their flexibility and strength work. This program also incorporates pointe and pre pointe work. This is laying the basics for dancers to improve their strength before moving onto pointe.
